Here I am on the 10th floor where all the senior citizen-residents eat lunch every day.

skills and abilities gained

other skill i have leaned from this job is how to deal with the elderly people with no patience.

They can be very demanding at times. Therefore I learned how to be patient with them.

communication skills

What I have have learned many communication skills, from my internship job. I talk with different people, I use the telephone. I speak more english now because I work in a place where people do not speak my language. This has helped me communicate with different people.

my first two weeks

My first two weeks of internship was very pleasant. I met many people, they were very nice to me. My job is to help the seniors move around in their wheelchairs. I deliver their packages to their rooms when UPS drops them off. When there's s a party, I escort them to the lounge within the building. Overall I enjoy to help the elderly, they love me.
